I am owner of Tata Tigor XZO and I am happy with this mean machine and it’s service. I purchased Tigor after 1 year of research on all possible cars under 8 lacs- and after hell lot of test rides and Anasultanlysis of buld quality, features and after sales service.
If your budget is 7-8 lacs then don’t look further- this is the car that can sweep you of your feet! believe me. Let’s keep this review short and divided into Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Awesome after sales service by Tejaswi Motors, Hitech City, Hyderabad
Great European design- a head turner for sure when you are driving on the road.
Great seating comfort- I can challenge you cannot find such comfort and luxury below 10 lacs in any car except Tatas.
Mind blowing HARMAN 4 speakers+ 4 tweeter speaker system - great clarity and bass.
Awesome suspension- can go through any kind of roads effortlessly gliding over all rough patches.
Smooth steering control- EPAS is tuned in best possible manner for Highway and City.
Powerful projector headlamps.
Powerful AC - you can always trust TATAs on that.
Rear seat handreat
Soft opening cooled glove box - generally found in premium cars of 10 lac+
Rear break and tail LED lights- give you dramatic road presence in night hours
419 ltr boot space- largest in segment and it’s even larger than Hyundai Creta.
Smart infotainment system with touch controls and smart key functions - that are really useful and thoughtfully designed.
Mileage- 14-15 kmpl in city and 19-20 kmpl in highway for petrol is quite good as per my experience with such heavy weight.
Great build quality- you can hear high quality thud like that of German cars while closing the doors.
Awesome ride quality - no balancing issues in highway while driving @100 kmph+ .
Functional’ECO’ mode to reduce power and improve mileage.
Cons:
Their are hardly any cons in this car for the budget of 7 lacs but if forced to think I would say:
Petrol engine noise is similar to diesel engine noise of other brand cars in similar budget inside cabin below 1500 RPM.
Linear pickup- takes effort to overtake in highway- you need to shift down a few gears to get that pick up.
