Tata Zest

First I have decided to buy a compact sedan which is having good legroom for 5, quite cabin and easy driving steering wheel.

So I have decided to test drive - selected models: Honda amaze, swift desire, hundai xcent, Tata zest.

First I have test driven Honda amaze. This is sportiest car among the all but lacks some features. no automatic climate control and heavy engine noise.

Second I have test driven swift desire. Decent performace and quiet cabin. But lacks legroom. This is worst legroom in this segment When I moved front seat for confortable driving, no legroom for rear passengers.

Third I have test driven hundai xcent, Good features but poor engine performace.Poor engine performance in this segment. Little engine noise even in petrol segment. only compatible for 3+1 passengers due to rear ac vent. No auto lock doors based on speed.

Finally I have test driven tata zest- This is the best vehicle in it segment. This is new breed which is not comparable to any of the old tata vehicles. Excellent quite cabin. No engine noise in petrol and very low engine noise in diesel. Gear shift is so smooth and steering is so lite in petrol and very lite in diesel variant. Diesel variant steering is so lite than any of the petrol variant in Honda amaze, hundai xcent or desire. Excellent cabin space.Even if I move my front seats I can get enough legroom in rear. Best in class Audio and seating confort. I cant feel any discomfort in bad roads. Enjoyed the car the most while driving than any other in this segment.

Best AC and got lot of features. Little low boot space when compared to amaze and xcent but it is quite marginal. Honestly Tata zest is the better buy for sporty, quite and stress less driving
