Tata Cliq is classic example of cheating, misselling and fraud.
I have placed an order through Tatacliq app to purchase "Vark by Westside maroon kurta with pant and dupatta set" on 8th November 2023 for which I made payment of Rs. 2799/- through net banking.
On 10th Nov 2023, I received the parcel from Tatacliq through Shadowfax courier. Upon opening the parcel I was shocked to see that the product received was entirely different from what I ordered. It was from some other brand called Prisella which does not appear to be from Westside. It was of extremely poor and inferior quality and there were no price tag attached on the item. I immediately placed return on app.
On 14th a person came to collect the return. Upon seeing the return parcel, he refused to collect and said that as the product does not match with the image of the product ordered he cant take the return. He asked me to contact customer care and ask them to remove the picture from the ordered item and then place fresh request for return. Thereafter through the app, I have submitted the picture of the dress that I got and requested to initiate return and refund.
Today I got a call from Shadowfax courier who asked me to give OTP for purpose of collecting return. As I am an advocate I was in High Court at that time so I gave him OTP that I got on my phone and called my mother to hand over the parcel to him. My mother stood at the gate for 15-20 mins but no one came.
In afternoon, I got message from Tatacliq that the product could not be collected as it could not pass quality check whereas the fact is that no body came to pick the parcel. I am feeling cheated and defrauded by Tatacliq. Despite paying you advance money of Rs 2799 on 8th Nov you have neither sent me correct product nor refunded the money to my a/c. You are trying to mis sell a product which I did not order. The product sent is of extremely inferior quality.
This is a case of mis selling, deficiency in service and cheating. None of your customer care executive has contacted me to redress the issue and you are sending false message of issue being resolved. I am a loyal customer of Westside brand from past 15 yrs but with such horrible experience I have lost my trust on your brand.
I am determined to take legal action against Tatacliq.
