Tawang is extremely beautiful but quite risky place if you are travelling with children. A few things to keep in mind

They have a network in the entire tour & they will only take you to others in their own network. We got a car without a name plate & also the car was not having permit to drive in Arunachal.
Be careful while checking car petrol - they are sure to cheat if you agree to fill the tank at your place. Insist to take full tank & return full tank while making final payment. If you fill the tank initially then deduct that amount from final payment.
Last day of journey - Be very careful with written records of all expenses made as on the last day the driver will fight with you over money & try to get maximum possible extra amount than what was agreed initially. Plz note down if driver took any advance, get it signed by him. We were cheated both by advance & extra petrol & in the name of tips.
Be very professional - Its safe to not consider the driver a friend as he will quickly understand your strength & weakness.
