I say that in spite of having a bad experience with one of the drivers in Managalore, who tried to cheat by saying that I had done extra KMs when it wasn’t true and over charging when he had not shown me the meter at the start of the journey as it was only a airport pick up.
That having said, what my relatives experienced with them was amazing. As usual Air India flight got delayed and instead of arriving at Bangalore at 4 PM to board the train at 8:55 PM, they landed in Bangalore at 8:15 PM. Everybody told me its a lost cause, they wont be able to reach the railway station in Cnetral Bangalore from the airport in that much time, etc.
However we took the chance and called Cell Cabs. They sent the driver at the airport who was waiting, he drove fast and efficiently and they reached the train station just minutes before the train started. On top of that it was at a reasonable cost as the meter was correct. I was really impressed that they had their meter running correctly, drove well and helped the passengers as much as possible by making his own calls for finding about train platform and all.
I must congratulate the staff of Bangalore Cell Cabs who are doing an excellent job. Nothing like being fished out of a difficult situation. Hope they maintain it.
