Heard this venture is started by IIM passouts. I have used the services of Taxiforsure in Bangalore. I have never found their drivers being professional. But that is expected because they have contracts with local drivers. I used their services in Bangalore mainly for the price offering. So when I went to Chennai and I booked their cab and I got SMS about confirmation within 1 minute. I wanted cab at 7:15am the next day.
On the actual day of service I got 2 drivers SMS and none of them bothered to call me. I called the 2nd driver on SMS at about 7:00am because did not want to make a mess of my day. Time was 7:15am and driver never called me back. When I called driver he was still not awake. So I kept calling the driver every 2 mins since my interview scheduled for 8:30 am. He did not bother pick up call. So I shouted the call center guy and said if no cab in another 5 mins I’m cancelling the cab. Still no response.
Later I hired an auto. I reached the interview venue just 5 mins before the scheduled time. Driver called me back after 10 mins of my start and said thanks for your punctuality. Cancelled the cab and later got a call from a manager. I said about the whole incident and I did not bother to speak with him much.
PLEASE do dont avail the services based on their great pricing. This company does not have any control over the drivers because NONE of the car belong to Taxiforsure.
Never mind to spend Rs.1 more per km to avail a better call cab company.
