I purchased a TCL LED TV in September 2024, and within less than 6 months, I have experienced serious issues with the product. In early March 2025, the screen went completely black and wouldn’t turn back on. After a technician’s visit, it was diagnosed as a motherboard failure, which had to be replaced and was done.
However, our excitement was short-lived, when within 30 minutes of usage, the TV blacked out again. Its unbelievable to see the recurring problems are happening within the first year of purchase.
I have written 6-7 emails, and there has been no resolution. Only last week was I informed that the part has arrived and can be replaced again. But when I requested a replacement of this clearly faulty TV, my request was denied, and they also refused to confirm anything over email.
I’m not asking for the moon, just a reliable product or a fair replacement. A TV breaking down twice in under 6 months clearly points to manufacturing defects, and refusing a replacement under warranty is unacceptable.
My suggestion to potential buyers - Stay away from TCL. Their product quality is poor, and after-sales support is worse. Purchasing a TCL TV was a mistake I hope others don’t repeat.
