To say that Te3n is carried on the able shoulders of Mr.Amitabh Bachchan would be an understatement. The film has a lot working in its favour. A haunting music track, moody kolkata backdrop, and an engaging screenplay brought to life and held together, like in so many films by Mr.Amitabh Bachchan. There is pathos, poignancy in the role of a grandfather who has lost his granddaughter many years ago and somewhere in his mind he feels he ought to be responsible for that fateful incident.
Supporting cast including Nawazuddin do their part well but you feel Vidya Balan is miscast in a role of a cop. Watch it for its engaging even if predictable twist, Haunting and a masterful performance by Amitabh Bachchan and letting his eyes, mannerisms and expressions entirely into this role, this performance is yet another proof of Bachchan’s mastery over character driven roles. I cant remember anyone else who could perform with such restrain and class. You wont be disappointed.
