I have been watching Teachers for about a month now, since the beginning and haven’t been able to miss one yet. From the first episode I was engrossed. The story started with a ‘trendy’ teacher, Simon, didn’t really care much about his job and all the kids thought that he was great. Simon not only didn’t care about his job but didn’t really have much control over his life either, work, pub, sleep type of thing. Throughout the episodes he has moved in with his mates, gained a police-woman girlfriend, nearly slept with a female teacher that he quite likes and in the last episode he moved in with his girlfriend.
The program is very well written and the actors are all brilliant and play their parts very well. There is no time for boredom because something is happening all the time. Although the story generally follows Simon’s life it does show what’s happening with the other characters as well and once you get to know them you won’t want to miss this show! They have brought out a CD of all the songs used on the program which may be worth looking at because I always end up singing along to half of them. I don’t know how much longer this is set to run for but if it went on forever
I don’t think I would stop watching it – they may run out of storylines eventually though.
