If you are reading this review, then probably you also have been hit by the sarkari attitude of team-bhp.
Man, I dont know what they think of themselves. They have this policy of activating a user for posting anything on their forums, only if they are approved. And for approval they require the users to provide a good reason in "Why Team-BHP" section.
How many times have you filled such section for registering in any site ? I tried to register thrice, and two times with proper explanation on "why team bhp", and still did not get any mail approving my membership.
I read all the FAQs, and searched a lot but of no help. Then I wrote to the support mail-id given in their site. And almost After a month the reply I get reads "Do visit out extremenly detailed FAQ section".
&@#$&
The so called extremly detailed section also doesnot have any answer to my query. It would have been better if they would have pointed me to the exact section that contains the answer. BUt the point is, they do not have any answer. They just want to make the users wait, and wait and wait, as if theirs is the only site for indian automotive scene.
The customer interaction is very poor indeed. They keep users waiting for a long time from joining the forum, and that too for ridiculous reasons. Also the query we post seem to be remain un-answered for a long time. It seems they are trying to prove your power here. Just because they have a good userbase, it doesnot mean that they can keep new users waiting for such a long time.I am a car enthusiast, like many others, and I would find one means or the other to join a million other forums. If they continue this attitude, your downfall is imminent. Do not underestimate the power of web.
If they are so concerned about genuine users, should not they block read-access as well. But these guys know they wont get the revenues if site visits drop. Only thing they did is buy a forum from vbulletin and start earning money. I am dying to create a auto-forum of myself, from scratch, and not from a old framework and competiting with them.
