I went to this site for some specific questions once and later stayed there for some time. You do get answers to your questions there sometimes but the group is all clubby and seems that the moderators there are out to approve what THEY like.
I believe their strength is the existing posts. But the fact is, in a rapidly changing world, where you are seeking current information, whats the point in knowing the post on, say, Santro in 2004? That way, of the millions of posts on any site, only a few thousand are relevant at any point in time. For example, for all the richness of the posts for the old Honda generation there, if you care to know more about, say the Cruze, whats the difference between any two active forums with knowledgeable members?
Since then I have moved to the carwale forum which is more like a forum. Its quite responsive too, plus it integrates with other offerings on the site. I would recommend not to visit team-bhp if you want to express your views.
