Techno India College of Technology is a part of Techno India group affiliated to MAKAUT and AICTE approved. It is situated in Rajarhat, Newton. Firstly, academic programs are not held here. Its like taking money and providing education and that’s all. Secondly, every students desire after passing higher secondary is to take admission in a reputed college which give placements. Frankly speaking, this college is not for placements. Only a few percentage of students get placements and that is also from non-core streams.
Apart from that, when I went to the college for physical reporting before taking admission, it was told that the overall package is ? 3.8 lakhs. After taking admission, we were told that the package has increased by ? 20, 000 and they failed to provide valid reason. Administration is not bad. The department of electrical engineering is famous in this college. Labs are well-equipped. NSS programmes are held very often as well as sports. Alumni Network is developing year after year but there is very less chance. I would recommend that nobody should take admission in this college as everyone expects to get job after investment of such a huge money. Students should invest that money by taking admission in IEM as they provide great placements with a very descent salary. Thank you
