While the block-buster Bollywood film loaded with as many as 6-8 main-stream actors fails to entertain (Housefull-3), I thought it was the time to go back and watch some Hollywood flick, however the same did not meet the expectations too. I am talking about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (first of all such a long name!).
Sequels are not new to us, in both Hollywood and Bollywood, and this movie is a sequel to TENANT MUTANT NINJA TURTLES - just made, 2 years back.
Coming straight to the movie, the plot does not have anything new to offer but a story of ninja turtles coming together to save the world. The predecessor was a dull movie and this one takes it further down. Each Ninja Turtles characters have a distinct personality and their own share of pain! Shredder and Stockman, the two bad guys create enmity with them. These turtles have some human friends, with whose help they fight the villains.
The audience is bored of a story-line where the bad guys have a goal to destroy the entire world while the good guys makes efforts to stop these efforts and save the planet - this is a routine now.
The movie looked to be a made with a blockbuster budget, however showing some cartoon characters supported by some super graphics and special effects (and soundtrack), running all around in an attempt to do something good, however not in a convincing manner.
If only this movie had a better supporting script, it would have scaled some heights, however going by what this sequel has produced, this looks to be the last attempt in the Ninja Turtle film series!
There is nothing new this film offers and can be safely avoided!
