For all those people who love to read try the Tehelka newspaper. There was a time when newspapers in India had good reading content. Not anymore. Advertisements cover up half the newspaper and Tehelka changes the rules of the game.
I really appreciate the Tehelka group. Despite facing so many pressures they have really come up and have even managed to expose the child abuse racket that goes on in Goa. Bold reporting and makes one feel that India as a country is still alive. This is what journalism should be all about.
Tehelka strives very hard to expose the rot in the system and I would recommend all people to subscribe to this newspaper and help the little bit of decency and honesty that is alive in our country today. Investigative journalism reached it’s peak when the Tehelka scam broke out. But this newspaper will go a long way in the future and break such scams in the future.
Of’course the rot in this country is so intense that even if a person were to sell the country and get caught on tape nothing would happen. A lax judiciary and poor implementation of laws are the reasons for the downfall of any democratic setup whether it be India or any other country. Thank God that newspapers like Tehelka exist.
Cheers for Tehelka. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. 10 bucks is expensive but the content is really worth it.
