Tehelka some time back stood for exposing scams now seems to be on a money garnering mission by pricing its paper at 10 rupees. Someone has already written that he’d rather buy an outlook or the India today than the expensive tabloid tehelka...sorry this one was not really a tehelka..
I really can’t understand how they had the mind and the thought to even think of pricing an ordinary paper like tehelka at 10 Rs..really defies logic by any standards. I bought the first 5 editions thinking that I’d be rewarded at some point with some real good investigative journalism.
The coverage, content and the choice of topics really amuses me and makes me wonder how anyone would buy something as gross as this and that too for 10 Rs, when 10 rupees could get you 4 issues of Mid Day or the Afternoon Dispatch Courier or even the more spicy Saamna.
Tehelka has to really pull up its sleeves and reposition itself to the standards that BLITZ set some years back to even be in the market, else...Tiz just RIP tehelka...
