I was interested in purchasing two products from Tele Brands. The first product was the ’German V-Slicer’ and the other was ’The Fat Free Express’. However before making any purchase I did check reviews for both these products on ’mouthshut.com’.
The reviews did really help me make the right decision. - I NEVER MADE ANY PURCHASES FROM THEM. My office is near Inorbit Mall at Malad (West) mumbai. Telebrands has an tweeny weeney outlet located at ’SPENCERS’ in this mall. I walked in to have a look at both the products and MY GOD, I must say, the quality of the products is terrible. Your regular basanwalla will have better utensils.
The German V- Slicer is made of such degraded plastic. I have absolutely no words to describe it. The blade of the V-Slicer looks like its just pasted onto the plastic with some glue. Your regular baber will have a better blade. (thank god for the old knives I say). The plastic of which this product is made up of, fades off after a while, giving you a dirty yellowish look. I would never spend so much cash for such RUBBISH !!!
The ’Fat Free Express’ was anything but a disaster. The representative at the outlet opened a new brand piece to show me and vola !!!! The metal was all scratched. The loop on the lid of the slicer was out of place. The handle was already lose. The recipe book was all crumpled and folded. A child also never damages paper to such extent as compared to what I saw at the outlet. The product was an absolute DISASTER.
Final Verdict: NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER purchase anything for Telebrands online. Always make sure to walk into their retail outlet to check their products first. If you notice, TELEBRANDS do not have much outlets. This is because they want to hide the quality of their products. Because what you see on TV is totally different as to what you see when the product is in front of you.
TELEBRANDS is an absolute RIP OFF. My advice, stay clear from such RIP OFF COMPANIES.
