I have been using loads of network at various cities across India including Airtel, T24, Vodafone, Uninor/Telenor, Idea, etc
There are ups & downs for Idea, Vodafone, Airtel.
But when it comes to Uninor/Telenor, I can distinctively tell you the review:)
Coverage: If you are lucky, you get nice coverage else forget speaking to the person you intent to
Even if the city is officially covered, you have to find right spots to get full network & nice communication
A big NO while travelling - it wont cling on to networks easily & if it does, you wont be able to communicate - Waste!
Offers are very attractive - Recharge for 528 & get talktime of 628 - Nice haan!
I did that received only 420:)
Escalated - no proper response
Escalated to Department of Telecommunications - Uninor updated them that they did it right! One has to recharge thro telenor.in only to get benefits - All of a sudden their website is updated with these details! Nice escape
I would call this unethical
I never got such issues with Vodafone/Airtel/Idea - even not for T24!
Customer care is not really interested to care about customer & wants to hang up as soon as you start talking - Seems they are not paid and hence are frustrated by their jobs.
At times you get free uninor to uninor calls - but half of the time the uninor people are not available on network:)
Not recommended!
