This is one of the best books I have read from this favourite author of mine. Tell Me Your Dreams deals with the concept of Multiple Personality Disorder.
An incident which occurs at childhood is registered in the memory and whenever there is a probability that there can be a reoccurence of the same at some stage in life, there is a different alter of the person created which happens to correct the wrong done before.
This concept though now very popular in today’s films, is brought out in this amazing page gripping novel of Sheldon.
Ashely, a young girl always has the feeling that she is being stalked by some unknown person. The feeling is so strong that she always seems disturbed and decides to take the help of police to get rid of that wierd sensation.
The book is an amazing thriller. Ashely suffers from this MPD and in times where there might be trouble her two alters Toni and Alette takes over Ashely. Toni is more aggressive in nature while Alette is petite , but does whatever Toni instructs her.
Series of murders happen and Ashely is framed and how this MPD is proved in a court of law is explained very well by Sidney.
The trauma experienced by Ashely and how the doctor helps her to overcome her alters who are very jealous of each other even though Ashely, Toni, Alette are all the same.
Ashely is helped and is finally cured.
All I can say in my review, just get the book and read it.
