In these corrupt times we live in its no wonder a show like this will manifest. Basically the show involves bringing several couples to an exotic location to test the strength of their relationship. It creates a situations where partners are exchanged and everyone watches to see if sparks will fly.
I personally think this is wrong and immoral and a real sign of the ignorance that pervades the current television offerings.
The host of the show, Mark Wahlberg, is a borderline white supremacist, very prejudiced. I read an interview of him several years ago and was appalled at his punk attitudes. Since then I have never gone to any of his movies, in fact I didnt realize it was him as host until recently. So, that is one big drawback. He may want respectability now and if he has change, fine, but I have not heard of it. So, until I do I will boycott this idiot.
The plot of the show is not good. Are we so bored now that we only catch thrill spying on intimate personal issues that is really none of anyone elses business? I know they agree to it, but you see in the end how alot of the women end up in tears, even the men. They dont look so hot then, to me they look like little lost children.
Maybe they do end up with a renewed relationship or a clearer idea of what they want, but I definitely think this is wrong to broadcast to the world something so personal. This show lacks decency and to me it doesnt matter if our current times are more permissive. I would think they may regret participating on this show in future years.
I find this form of entertainment more sad than anything.
