Imagine yourself in the middle of screeching vehicles, traffic jams, high decibell honking and more. Welcome to Kandivilli (East) Railway station. Now if you had this place as an option of meeting up with friends for beer and more, you have little choice except Temptations.
Its not trendy, its not young, theres no loud music. Its simply, a quiet decent restaurant with a bar attached. Those who enjoy a no-frills experience would find this an ideal place to catch up with friends. Being a vegetarian, I cant comment on any non-veg fare. But there are some offerings on the menu worth trying. If you love rice, dont miss the methi-rice. The paneer section is elaborate and paneer makhanwala is something Id recommend at Temptations. Its rich in flavour and gravy, and they customise it to your taste if you want it spicier.
Decent ambience, the murals on the wall add to the overall quiet, serious decor this tiny restaurant has. Service is exceptionally good, and response time is better than many famed suburb outlets.
All in all, there arent any options in the locality, but Temptations doesnt let you down. The menu is very reasonably priced, and food quality is agreeable, to say the least. Ideal for a quiet afternoon lunch.
