Yes, we know many genius directors of golden era but I’d give my choice of today
- Raj Kumar Santoshi
Most versatile director of today. Tried his hands in action (Ghayal, Ghatak), comedy (Andaaz apna apna), historic saga (Bhagat Singh), women oriented (Lajja) and mammoth Pukar and China Gate. Definitely one of most talented directors of the today.
- Ram Gopal Varma
A real movie makers. Tried each and every type of films and most of them were trend setters. Excellent in technical terms and fearless to try any subject. Aspects of making money keeps away while making a film.
- Tanuja Chandra
Excellent grip on story line. Grasping scripts and overall excellent subjects. Knows cinema making by heart
- Suraj Barjatya
Very Professional. Knows well how to make a entertaining movie with very simple storyline and 12 – 14 songs. Should try some different subjects
- Karan Johar
Extremely talented. Was excellent in KKHH and K3G. Know how to make hype and exploit it. Played well with people’s emotions in K3G.
- Sanjay Gupta
Picks up interesting storylines from Hollywood films. Technically sound and lavish films like Kaante.
- Aziz Mirza
Light and entertaining films. Knows very well what a middleclass viewer enjoy to see. Should try something without Shahrukh.
- Madhur Bhandarkar
Is undoubtly talented. Will need some time to prove himself.
- Priyadarshan
Excellent in comedies and technical terms
- Vikram Bhatt
This successor of Mahesh Bhatt has many good films (inspired from Hollywood) Should try something original. Has guts to stand away from Mob
