Though AR Rahman composed great music this year, his was not the most successful. reason - this is one such year when the music directors, lyricists came up with songs that were just outstanding and the best efforts of AR Rahman had to take backseat. It all started with Lucky. one of the best albums in the recent times. then Himesh, Vishal Shekhar, SEL came up with tunes that rocked 2005. Though these songs may not be remembered for longer time, they still are one of the best compositions in the recent times.
