This beautifully composed sufi song is all about love, description of love. I prefer this one more than “maula mere” from the same movie because of the sheer magic of this song. Lyrics are beautifully scattered all over the music.

Story: It tells story of a such a heart which wants to fall in love. There are certain relationship which society doesn’t approve of but situations demand; what will you do in that case? This song exhibits dilemna of such a lovelorn heart.

The beautiful piano piece in the starting of the song is so melodious. An inspirational song which says, ‘If there is a Question, there has to be an Answer.’

Story: It tells story of a such a heart which is fighting to be happy despite all odds.

Listening this song will surely make u blush. Lyrics are very romantic. Although the movie was a headache, but its music was good. And this particular song made it to my list of 2007.

Story: It tells story of a such a heart which is so much in love and wants to be in the arms of his\her lover forever.

When Adnan Sami sings, romance scatter all over. His voice is made for romantic songs. And when the lyrics are also full of passion then the mood is set just right for love.

Story: It tells story of a such a heart which is in love with someone and wants to keep the lover in his\her heart forever; but the twist here is that the Lover loves someone else.

This song doesn’t need any explanation. Because like others I love this for obvious reasons. It became a national anthem. It gave new meaning to sports and also brought good luck to Indian sports teams.

Story: It tells story of a such a heart which is passionate about winning. Story of a heart who wants to win at any cost.

Its hard to live alone, its harder to choose someone to love but the hardest part of Love is to admit that you have fallen in love with someone who can never be yours! J
Mesmerizing voice of my favorite Shaan made it special and hence it is featured in my list.
It was very difficult for me to choose one song from this movie as I love all the songs equally. Stay tuned to read stories of other songs of this movie in my next review on Jab We Met.

Story: It beautifully expresses the feeling of falling in love and most importantly wanting to be in love forever and keep cherishing it, without bothering about the fact that the person whom you love can never be yours.

Who can forget the famous towel dance of cute Ranbir. Comparisons were made with the Kajol’s ‘mere khwabon mein’(DDLJ). This first-of-its-kind item number by our new heart-throb made it to my list of 2007 not only because of its sexy and sesuous picturization, but because it is a love song in the backdrops of classical music.

I am crazy about the lovely piano piece in the beginning. I loved the picturization of the song. SRK serenading a girl. Does we need to say anything more? Lyrics are fabulous and a song to be crooned to your girl to impress her.

Story: It tells story of a such a heart which is dating his\her lover in dreams and imagination; because s\he can never have him\her in real life.

Meri Maa(Taare Zameen Par)*
A song which says about the purest & strongest relationship in this world, that of a mother & her son\daughter. Soul-stirring music by SEL and heart-touching lyrics is the reason why I cherish this song.

Story: It tells story of every heart which loves his\her mom but has never been able to express it.
