I’m new to this web site. I see people uploading their favorite(best songs of ilayaraja). But before I upload my list. Jus want to share something. There are other music directors, who also composed good tunes during the 80s and 70s.
Most of us mistake that these tunes are done by Ilayaraja. For instance I saw a couple of them updating Sangeetha swarangal and Sangathil Paadadha Kavithai. FYI, Sangeetha swarangal from the movie Azhagan is composed by Maragadhamani and Sangeethil was done in Tamil by Shankar-Ganesh, where as he got the copyrights from Ilayaraja’s Thumbe Vaa(Olangal - Malayalam Movie) and made him sing as a honor. Didnt want to pin point mistakes. But just wanted to make things clear.

Note: This might be the top ten for this week. O’course this will add up another set of songs soon. Coz trying to get 10 songs out of 1000s is not an easy job.:)
