*JATIN PANDIT** and** LALIT PANDIT** are next only to **Nadeem Shravan** in composing melodious, soul-touching, evergreen, and unmatched music in Bollywood.
From **Yaara Dildara(1992)** to **Fanaa(2006)**, this duo has given numerous evergreen chartbusters. The best part of their music is the composition of simple, evergreen, and soul-touching music without too much of sound engineering(This is done by most of the so called composers of today, which surely enhances the sound quality but severely degrades the music quality. Hence, such music gets a hype for 6-8 months at most, then people forget these songs whereas **JATIN LALIT’s** music is evergreen).
JATIN - LALIT** is a musician duo which has given chartbusters with lyrics of almost all lyricists and singers. **Lataji** has also given numerous chartbusters with **Jatin Lalit** - both in solo and duets. She has sung numerous chartbusters - some of her all time best songs, with **Kumar Sanu** and **Udit Narayan** under **JATIN LALIT’s** music direction. Therefore, it is indeed an extremely difficult task to select their 10 best songs. Hence, I have decided to select 20 best songs. However, I
honestly believe that songs composed by **JATIN LALIT** are way beyond any rating or comparison - even within themselves. Each and every song is unique and
a benchmark in itself.

1) **Pehla Nasha - JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDAR(1992)** - By all means, this is undoubtedly **JATIN LALIT’s **best song ever and also one of the best songs ever composed in bollywood till date, exceptionally sung by **Udit Narayan** and **Sadhana Sargam**.
This also happens to be the first song in bollywood which was entirely filmed in slow motion. I honestly believe that for many many years to come, a song like this
one will never be re-composed in bollywood. This is truly a kohinoor heera.

There are many more evergreen, soul touching songs composed by **JATIN LALIT *
than merely these 20. In any case, I have tried my best. However, I hope
everyone will agree with me in admitting this universal truth that this
is only an extremely small fraction of **JATIN LALIT’s** exceptional and rare musical brilliance, but as I said earlier - It is a hell of a task.
It is too bad that they decided to split after composing music for **FANAA **in **2006**. It is something that rarely happens in the bollywood music industry.
