Today while going to my office in a local bus. I was watching news on TV. As soon as news was over, there was time for some commercials. After two three advertisements, there was an AD in which Richard Gere was shown in INDIA. It was some Ad on Visa card. Though the ad was good, I begin to think about the Indian advertisements which once I loved to see on television. So I decided to share them with you all.
So here are my ten most likable commercials on Indian small screen
Though you won’t find very new one among them as I am not touch with Indian small screen from years.
Hope you will enjoy these.
1. DHARA Double refined Oil
Don’t get me wrong, nothing with this refined oil. But I remember that small kid dressed in yellow T Shirt. Sitting on station and saying ’Mein Ghar Chod Ke Ja Raha Hu, Mujhe Koi Pyaar Nahi Karta.’
And that old man says ’Par Ghar Pe to Maa ne Jalebi Banayi hai’.
And that cute little boy says ’JALEBI’.
The way he speaks the word JALEBI is still what I remember about this ad.
2.Pepsi(Amitabh and Arshad Warsi)
I don’t think, if anyone of you have missed this one.Todays most wanted Comic Star and biggest star of our country comes together in this ad.
How Arshad Warsi boasts on Amitabh Ji, and how Amitabh ji plays trick on him. And says ’PAANI PI PAANI’
Expression were matchless
3.Dairy Milk
This one was real funny. Remember the girlfriend of the cricketer comes barging in the ground and start dancing in most funniest and unimaginable way and top of that jingle
’Kya Swaad hai Zindagi mei’
4.Asian Paints(waah Sunil babu)
’Waah Sunil Babu, Naya Ghar, Nayi Gaadi, Nayi Biwi.Bhadiya hai.’
Who can forget this BHADIYA HAI slang. This became the words and most used slang while talking in general.
The ad was also BHADIYA HAI.
5.Coke(Aamir in tapori ishtyle)
Though Amir khan has done 8 different ads for coke with different getups. But among all those I love this one. If I am not wrong this was the first one of these Ads.
Aamir performed so this tapori style with no efforts.
’Ae Baal ki Dukkan, Du kya tujhe kharcha paani.Chal jaake thnada la’
Amazing
6.Nakshatra Diamonds
Nothing except the beauty of Aishwarya Rai.That says all.Aishwarya Rai looks were
stunning in this ad. Every time this Ad was aired I was mesmerized by her beauty.
7.Pan Pasand
’Paan ka swad, Ghazab ki mithaas’
This ad was aired in different flavours.But the ad featuring Archna Joglekar was my favorite one.
Remember
’Shaadi Aur Tumse.Kabhi Nahi.’
The way she speaks after eating Pan pasand was too cute and innocent
8.VIP 360 degree Suitcase
Advertisement with very catchy jingle and who can forget that sweet so cute girl with chubby cheeks dancing along with her mother. This ad was really a treat for the eyes.
9.Saint Gobain*
*Full Marks to creativity here. Every ad of Saint Gobain was unique in itself. Best one being the lady throwing water in the direction of two customers in the hotel.
Really this ad was a perfect example how best can an ad created.
*10.Chlor mint
A man selling pan and singing ’Gore gore mukhde pe chutta nahi hai.’. And giving a Chlormint to the customer. Customer asking very innocently ’Hum Chlormint kyu khaate hai?’ booom.bang.chappak. The next scene paan waala trying to drown him in the *Baalti.
’Dobaara mat poochna, hum chlormint kyu khaate hai?’
Special Mention
I don’t remember for what product this ad was, but it was aired during the last cricket world cup. A architect standing near a under constructing World Cup shape architecture and Saying ’Ummmed to nahi hai.lekin phir bhi’
That ad was full of sprits. I hope many of you will ace glimpse of that ad in your mind
