......This is what I had to say when I watched these movies. After rewarding the worst serials in Tellywood, I now move on to Bollywood and this time the list goes to 10 coz Bollywood is much bigger than Tellywood. So here goes my list of 10 worst movies:
1.Boom
Now what on earth were the producer and director thinking when they made this movie? Shooting at places like Dubai with star cast of Big B, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover and models like PadmaLaxmi, Zeenat Aman(old beauty…) etc. what was this movie all about? Looting a bank?? And what a debut movie for Katrina Kaif (man she looks awesome..not in acting…looks wise). She might have thought to remain in news let me do a bold film “Boom” and the crowd went crazy with their brains damaged watching this flick. I had thought of Kaizad coming back with a “boom” after Bombay boys and he came back with a stale firecracker which refused to ignite fire among the audiences.
2.Rudraksh
Frankly speaking, as it was seen from the promos, I had thought this might be different flick in three dimensions after the release of Koi Mil Gaya. And there was one of my friends who told me that movie would be an absolute disaster and I argued with him saying the promos (with the photography) suggest that this is going to be a good one. Bus alas!! This was not I had expected when I walked in to see this flick. All I had to see was the various “kaals” shown in the movie with Sanjay Dutt with those long hair (wig) & Suneil shetty with those creppy eye-lenses being the good and the evil. What’s more we have Bips as a research doc. who wears clothes as if she is in come fashion parade and singin songs..what crap.
3.Hello Brother
With the success of PKDK Sohail Khan decided to make a comedy flick with Salman in the lead role of a comedian. But what happened was a total waste. Sheer over-acting and some stupid scenes of Neeraj Vora made this flick unwatchable. Whats more was the torture with the voice of Rani Mukherji saying “hero mera dost tha hero mera dost tha”. She looked fatter than ever in this movie.
4.Jaani Dushman
Raj Kumar Kohli has always been knows to make multistarrer movies. But with Jaani Dushman he made a record (of boring us). Let me tell u one thing if u r thinking that what were Suniel Shetty, Akhsay Kumar, Manek Bedi, Arshad Warsi were doing in college? They were studying for yet another degree after B.A, M.A, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.B.A, B.Com, M.Com and Manisha Koirala was doing a Ph.D course of weight loss in college. Only Sonu Nigam was doing Bachelors degree and Aftab was doing a Master’s degree. So now don’t u dare ask a ? on all those studying in college ok!! Oh yes I forgot Armaan Kolhi. He was doing a course on revenge taking inspired by films like Nagin and a course on being converted into any form like motorbike or running on water. Then there was multi utility Raj Babbar with a French beard giving supernatural power to Sunny Deol to fight with Mr. Mercury Armaan Kolhi.
5.Devdas
Sorry SRK fans but I had to include this film. Many of u might not agree with me regarding this one but in my opinion this was a bad film. Loads of overacting by all the characters made me sleep while watching this flick. Especially SRK had a dream run of overacting in this movie. Only J se Jackie Shroff was likeable in this movie. And they were going to send this for Oscars????
6.Ek Choti Si Love Story
This flick got all the publicity be4 it was released which was required so that it came to notice of the people. But this didn’t help the film to get crowds attracted. The subject was alrite that a young lad falls in love with an older woman but then they showed the love scenes between manisha (or her duplicate) and her bf with the window curtains open for the neighbors to watch it what was that? Bad manners..oh sorry…bad movie.
7.Trimurti
I had to mention this movie alrite. Worst Subhash Ghai movie. I m not gonna blame late. Mukul Anand for this one. It had a good star-cast alrite with Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor and SRK but big starcast don’t make good movies. Bad film.
8.Shakti-The power
No no this isn’t Big B’s Shakti—it was an absolutely fantastic movie. But this is the new one made by Sridevi Kapoor starring Karsima Kapoor, flop hero Sanjay Kapoor and Nana Patekar. After being appreciated in Fiza for her scream scene Karisma took this one to the limit of screaming. Too much of violence is shown in this flick. Not acceptable to me by any means. The only saving part of the film was the little cameo by Shahrukh Khan and that item song by Ash—“Ishq Kamina”.
9.Wah Wah Ramji
This one was supposed to be a comedy flick as it was shown in promos but its good that I saw it (somewhat..) not in theaters but on cable. Starring Amar Upadhyay who does all sorts of over acting and then there is Reema Sen who does nothing except boring us. Paresh rawal is there for sumtime tries to save the film but he doesn’t succeed this time..
10.Aap Mujhe Acche Lagne Lage
Yes I had to include this flick. I m a fan of Hrithik Roshan but no I wont appreciate this movie at all. What a waste from Vikram Bhatt. Amisha patel has only one expression in this movie (which one I don’t know). She does nothing more than boring us. I read in an article that she expected this movie to become an even bigger hit than Kaho Na pyaar hai… she dresses traditionally in the whole movie and the same old common estory where tender love blossoms between all the bad clouds surrounding them. At last love wins and they live happily ever after. Wow!! Total waste.
Alrite guys this concludes my selection of 10 best worst movies. Hope u like it!!
