This years wimbledon has been one of the most exciting one in the history of WImbledon. As everyone knows that Wimbledon is one of the most important of the four grand slams that are held. This year was no other. With the Williams showing their extra ordinary performance in the doubles matches. They showed everyone that their pair was the number 1 pair in womens doubles championship when they claimed the trophy. But who knew which one of the sister was better? This was proved when they went one on one in the Womens single final. I must tell you people that this match was completely dominated by the younger sister ie Serena after she defeated her elder sister Venus. From the match it was seen that Venus was no match for her younger sister. SO Venus had to satisfy for the 1st runner up place after she was defeated in straight sets. Here in the mens single the number 1 seeded Hewit showed the reason why he had been seeded the number 1 for this years championship after he defeated the 28th seeded Nalbandian. Our Indian Mahesh Bhupathi paired with Elena Likhovtseva defeated the 4th seeded pair for claiming the mixed doubles title. The mens double was won by the Australian Swedish pair of Woodridge and Bjorkman. Over all this years Wimbledon was extremely exciting.
