Will England ever be good!!!!!

Tennis.

A simple game which involves hitting a ball with a raquet over a net.

However when you come up against a quality opponent it all changes. You must think about where to play the shot, how hard to hit etc.

ENGLISH TENNIS

We have two main british players who try to make England look like tennis nation. They are Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski.

Tim Henman is in my opinion a better player than Rusedski. His footwork has improved very well, he can play well as a baseline player or as a serve volley player. His serve has got quicker which has helped him to improve as a serve volley player and this has helped his whole game. He will surely one day win a major title. Hopefully it will be at Wimbledon where he has come close on the last 3 occasions. Losing to Pete Sampras at Wimbledon is the hardest thing that Tim has ever had to come over but he always picks himself and turns to the next tournament.

FUTURE SUCCESS RATING 8/10

Greg Rusedski

Although nativley a Canadian Greg’s dad is English. He has been injured for the whole of 200 but in 2001 he has played some amazing tennis. His main weapon is his serve and he currnetley holds the fastest recorded serve which has been in. Him and his coach have worked very well in training to help improve his game. Rusedski is now back to playing his best tennis and looks good to win a major tournament in the years to come.

FUTURE SUCCESS RATING 8/10

If he was always fit it could be Henman and Rusedski playing all of our Davis Cup matches we would do alright but as it happens he is always injured.

If this two carry on playing as they are we could see England known as tennis force in years to come.
