Teraa Surroor, previously known as Guns N’ Roses is a 2016 Indian romantic-thriller film directed by Shawn Arranha and produced by Vipin Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor.
It is the sequel to 2007 film Aap Kaa Surroor. Previously, it was titled Guns N’ Roses but the name was changed to Teraa Surroor.
The film was a joint production of T-Series and HR Musik Limited.
It starred Himesh Reshammiya and Farah Karimaee in the lead roles. And Naseeruddin Shah, Shekhar Kapur, Kabir Bedi and Monica Dogra played the supporting roles. Teraa Surroor was released on 11 March 2016 in 1000 cinemas all over India. The film received mixed reviews on release.
Tara Wadia(Farah Karimaee), a singer and girlfriend of a gangster Raghu(Himesh Reshammiya) lives with her mother(Shernaz Patel). She goes to Dublin where she gets detained after being caught with drugs. Tara calls Raghu for help now Raghu must help her and find Anirudh Brahman, the stranger who met Tara on Facebook and invited her to Ireland.
Himesh Reshammiya also did tours before release of the film.
He performed in Amsterdam and in different cities of India including Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata and New Delhi. Himesh also visited Ajmer Sharif Dargah on 8 March 2016 with Farah Karimaee to offer prayers for the success of Teraa Surroor.
The shooting began in the end of 2015. The film was mostly shot in Dublin, Ireland and a small part was also filmed in India.
The soundtrack of Teraa Surroor was composed by Himesh Reshammiya himself. The first track of the soundtrack titled Main Woh Chaand was released on 29 January 2016. It was sung by Darshan Raval
Official trailer of the film was released on 27 January 2016. The film was released on 11 March 2016 in 1000 cinemas across India.
Himesh Reshammiya is an Indian music director, singer, producer, lyricist, distributor and actor.
As a singer, he churned out songs like "Aashiq Banaya Aapne", "Tera Suroor", "Zara Jhoom Jhoom", "Jhalak Dikhlaja", "Shakalaka Boom Boom", "Hookah Bar", "Chalao Na Naina Se", which were very popular. Reshammiya’s music has a style of composition based on a fusion of Western and Indian classical music accompanied by techno beats. He started his acting career with his debut film, Aap Kaa Surroor.
