Unfortunately , but truly a sad movie

Ok, guyz here is a movie that has its catch line as ’’Unfortunately a True Love Story’’. Hmmm....how unfortunate is it, well you need to check it out.

I have so many questions...

It starts with a normal slow pace of any good story. It has college background and is a good movie. It has a sweet looking leading lady and it looks like a nice movie. Oh WOW! it has Salman Khan in a all new avatar and seems to be a very nice and watch able movie. It has started and finally things are happening, hey it must be nice further too. Oops! is this the same movie or has it changed to some other movie, NAH, this must be a trailer of some other movie. Oh me GOSH!

it is the SAME MOVIE..........NooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO.....GAWD! Now, if you did not get that, let me explain. The movie starts on a very nice note.

Salman looks cool! Well do not talk about age, he is portraying role of an Ex- student. So, isn’t he just perfect! Well Yeah! if you insist Satish. All right! Back on track, then there is a college, which has all the ingredients a good pal, a competitor, a funny pal and CHAMCHAAS. I resent such settings and characters.

As soon as you start anticipating the next scene there comes Bhumika, a sweet and simpleton girlie. She does have some charm, which reminds you of Bhagyashree in MPK and Juhi in QSQT. Oh boy! This movie starts moving towards a different lane altogether, but WATCHOUT! Yes, it is the beginning of love that actually spoils the fun.

Salman is a brat of the house a younger sibling, a brother-in-law and an uncle. He is so totally adorable. He is the same guy who also does ragging of fresher. He sits on his throne (Bike) and takes everyone for a Trip at a Railway station. Now, what I fail to understand is that if he hits, rags and makes fun of everyone and has a soft side to him why doesn’t he have a girlfriend. Till now he did not like even a single girl in the town where he has been staying for all his life. Mhummm...i don’t agree. Why is it that the only way to show a soft side of a person one has to get a Mad girl in the railway station to whom he buys Tea and saves heart from the ruffian on the platform. How come everything that can make such people or HEROES look like God happen to them Only??!!?! Question. He is the only savior for Bhumika’s sister who has to arrange money for her husband. He is the only one who can savor the taste of her simplicity and why is it only she in all these years.

He is quite elder to her and has ragged so many juniors who have been good to him. Now don’t know if he liked the way she threw a Salute at him. May be!?!!

Bhumika needs to understand that doing a movie in a vernacular movie and doing the same thing in Hindi that too with Satish Kaushik is working in two different Worlds. She does look nice and has kept herself in the limits of the character, but looks too tired and not fresh! She has played the role already once, this could be the reason!! If it is a true story then I don’t think anybody can be that dumb to start liking a person for his dramatic behavior and just because he has done some good deeds. Could you think of a mellower dramatic story and twist and turns like the ones shown in this movie?

So, what goes wrong because of which everything goes wrong. It is the work of the Director, which needs to be checked. I hear that this movie has sent Cash registers ringing on the first week and has broken records set in five years. ’’Aaj khush to bahut hogey tum...’’ kyun Satishji? Sometimes we have to look into the script and not just watch the original and do Copy paste of course with a new colour and borderline. It is time to Re-invent your style of movie making, rather how about Inventing your Own style. He is not bad as a Director, but he has to be more into the script and always keep in mind the people you are making it for or else start making movies for your own personal viewing, if that is not what you want then make it for all the parallel cinema fans. But, I don’t really think that Satish Kaushik should tread towards Parallel cinema world, I am sorry Kalpan Lajmi and gang. I am still wondering what was so great and different about the story that they made a movie out of it??? WHY?

The movie has songs which sound so jarred and jaded, it is better to go and visit the washroom of the cinema hall whilst the songs are on, incase you make the mistake of going to a Cinema Hall to watch this movie. The cinematography is as it is these days. Now days every movie has good cinematography. Editing could have been better, but forget it The Editor was just earning his money as the story does not have anything different to offer so what could he do. Choreography? Name a song, which can be complimented with good choreography? That is a tough job in this movie. Script....what was different. Screenplay...you couldn’t have done more than this...at least be different in thinking. Well forget it.

The movie is depressing through out and unlike other movies which have a sad ending, this one has a Sad beginning, a sad mid-way and a sad ending. So what is good about the movie.... the Interval.
