Does the title sound funny…well my name is Bhoomika and the actress in the movie is named Bhoomika.
Probably the first Bhoomika I know - not including me! (hehe!).
I heard a lot about this movie…Salman is back but he is back with a BANG or BOOM ?
Movie is definitely different…its not your regular romantic flick!
Tere Naam is about Radhe (a local ex-college student gunda type guy)...who is very violent. Enter new student in the college, Nirjira ( a sweet innocent pandit’s daughter).
Instantly, Radhe falls for Nirjira’s innocence. But Nirjira doesn’t have a clue, actually she is engaged to another Pandit. Radhe being sadistic, he warns the Pandit guy to leave Nirjira alone.
Nirjira tells Radhe off. Radhe is furious & hurt. Eventually, after all the violent scenes and songs…Nirjira too falls in love with him.
But God has some other plans for these Lovebirds !

As for the story, it’s definitely different, not your ‘run of the mill’ Bollywood love story.
Movie is full of surprises. (mostly sad).
Its not a lovy dubby movie. Climax is really good. But the last (very last) scene is just ridiculous – y does he go back?
:~ Acting ~:
As everybody said, Salman is great! I don’t think he was all that – he was alright but in the confrontation scene and the climax..he impresses !
Can’t say the same about the Hairstyle…now I still don’t know why in the world the director gave him that style???
As for Bhoomika, I think she is like a super hit in the South right? Well I don’t know how to judge her.. she played a quiet girl..so she didn’t spoke that much...she is okay okay! Although, she really doesn’t look like a “typical bollywood actress material” plus she just reminds me of Bhagyashree… I don’t know why??
Other actors play their roles sincerely. They are all good !
Music
First song in the movie which has a cameo by Mahima ( y in the world is she there to dance…when she can’t !!)…. I really can’t remember all the songs…but I really liked listening to “Tumsei Milna”, “Tere Naam”…I think that’s it! These two songs are good.
Overall, the movie is average…it could have been better !
I call this movie “thik thik movie”… I think you should watch it once… its not that bad not that great (haha!)
If u don’t like romantic movies like “kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Dilwale Dulhania Lei Jayenge”, or…any other Yash Chopra movies…or Karan Johar. THIS MOVIE is Must For u !!
