Robin Cook popularly known as the master of Medical Thriller gives the unexpected in this book and once again creates an up-to-the-minute intrigue, bringing out the darkest fears. The book revolves around a central male character “Sean Murphy ”, a handsome young student studying in Harvard University studying about brain cancer for four years, a year of molecular biology finally gets a chance to go for a two month research at the Forbes Research Centre inspite of his family, his girlfriend being worried about her. As he reaches he meets the director-Randolph Mason, Deborah Levy and many others does not let him work on brain cancer but on monoclonal bodies. Soon, he comes to know bout the surprise that his girlfriend “Janet Reardson” an attractive female that every guy wants to marry, But Sean on the other hand, wanted to concentrate on his carrier. Janet joins the Forbes hospital as a nurse .As he is not allowed to work on medulloblastoma so he starts is own secret investigation with the help of Janet and he comes to know as how they give 100% remission on the cancer he also comes to know that those students who had come before him suddenly dissapeared. As the director feels that he is dangerous to them, the director and many other start investigating about his past.(If I tell you anymore about the characters, i will never stop)
For Sean discovers a horror, beyond his worst suspicions he comes to know that how the Forbes cures the brain cancer. And in the end, oops am not supposed to tell you that, well, its interesting so go read it!
Robin cook’s way of writing is very different from the others in many aspects as for anything he writes he has a research for that information.
Terminal is one of the best books of medical thriller written and I really think that all of us should read it.
It does not matter that u r to small for it, so if I could understand it, so can you.
I hope someone in India makes a movie on it.
