Good is the word I would use to rate this movie, whilst T1 and T2 deserve the word excellent! This movie fits in with the mainstream action movies made today. It doesnt have that magic that James Cameron can add. This movie is as I expected it to be, as it was not directed by james Cameron. James is the man who made up the whole idea and wrote the scripts. He sold his T1 movie script for a dollar on the condition he could direct, thats how passionate he was. Only someone so talented and so passionate about their can add the magic.
Cons:
T3 is very similar to T2, it has Arnie the goodie and another more powerful machine. It has John Connor whos seen it all before and theres not that same kind of passion at seeing it again that Sarah Connor had in T2. Theres some good action scenes, but one scene where the female TX is on a huge vehicle chasing John and Kate (his future wife) in a car and with terminator also in the chase on a motorbike to save the day...ITS ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE IN T2! Abit of variation would have gone a long way.The TX was played by a beautiful woman, so obviously one would expect her to use her femininity to seduce and lure. But the only time she does that is to increase her chest size to make the cop not shout at her. Now they could have made it more interesting by luring the males she was out to kill instead of just shooting them. Arnie was terrible with the one-liners this time around. PS My reviews do not give the storyline or loads of detail but they just say what I think. Plot is the same as T2 but this time the TX is there to kill Johns leutinents. The actress playing Kate Brewster, Johns future wife was just the wrong choice for this role.
Pros:
Good action movie and I like the idea of a female machine, it fits in perfectly with the whole girl power theme of today. Despite all the cons above...WATCH IT, A GOOD MOVIE!
