some films deserve to be watched for their sheer imagery and lyricism than the same old excuse of a high entertainment value. Santosh sivans TERRORIST falls under that category.
A wafer thin plot, a mild pot boiler quotient [ almost nil ], sparsely dialogue driven - everything may seem unobscure if you are expecting a mainstream film. just experience it for the **canvas which Sivan creates inspite of all sort of constraints.
* The climax is shocking yet pleasant. one has gotta live for ones ownself and then must he/she think of sacrificing his/her existence for others. wonder was it really based on the Rajiv Gandhi Assasination [ as it was rumoured to be ]
Ayesha Darbar delivers a subtly fine performance in her author -backed role. even that house owners character [ I dont know his name ] was fine.
But three cheers to Santosh sivan - for the manner he uses water as a leitmotif and adds lyricism to his narrative, for his own cinemaograohy which ic milieu-oriented and equally captivating, but primely for daring to choose such a brave subject and handling it so receptively.
