*American by birth....Texan by the grace of God*

As a proud Texan with a long line of forefathers who tamed these wild lands, I strongly take offense to your unsupported claims and idle ramblings. Our state is rich with culture and it is with all these cultures combined that we take pride in saying who we are. We have one of the more highly praised school systems here. If you have time check out the state web site at https://texas.gov it has many statistics that prove you wrong. As far as ’’Indian’’ friendly...I’d say yes. I went to school where many Indians came to receive degrees in various engineering fields. I met many wonderful people who had glorious times there. We do not have the highest rate for sending innocent people to death row. We do have the highest rate of execution. To that I say.....good. I’ve lived my whole life honestly and by the law. I don’t feel that my hard earned tax dollars should be used to keep killers, rapist, and other hardened criminals alive in air conditioned cells with three balanced meals a day and access to free education and free medical. I’m sorry, but I think that there are many children across this world with much less and that are so much more deserving, what did those people ever do to deserve such luxuries? I also believe that it is a strong deterrent. What ever it takes to make this world a safer place to live, that’s what I’m for. I’m a pretty easy going person, but I believe that when someone wrongfully portrays my homeland, I need to step to her aid and defend her.
