SIN-BKK-DME, DME-BKK-SIN
This is my first long distance flight. I heard a lot of bad reviews about it. However, I think that given its low price for long distance journey, you have to admit that they’re doing a pretty good job. There’s personal entertainment for the longer distance journey, for this case BKK-DME. The short two hour trip is pretty okay with the personal entertainment set, but they do have a wide collection of personal audio for you to listen to.
The food is pretty good, and has improved greatly since a few years back when I took Thai Airways to Bangkok from Singapore.
The staff speak pretty good accent with Thai accent. But if you listen properly, they could be understood.
Flight is pretty much on time but the ambitious one hour transit should be reviewed. My flight was late by a while and during the transit, I had to run all the way to the other end of the Bangkok airport to catch my transit flight.
The seating space is pretty much catered to Asians. I am pretty comfortable with it. The bigger Russians seem pretty comfortable as well. I think this flight is definitely recommended if you are looking for a cheap flight with some sense of decency.
