When I first time came to chennai I heated regarding thalapakatti briyani and asife briyani. Finally last week I went to thalapakatti briyani nungabakkam branch. It’s famous briyani restaurant. Although all the non veg item available here.
No doubt inside decoration and artistic is awsome. Also ambiance is cool.
So we ordered two mutton briyani they charged 225 exclude tax and one half BBQ chicken for 208 rs.
When we started to ate BBQ chicken it was awsome tasty. But when they served mutton briyani we thought they may be wrongly served half briyani. We asked but told me nk sir it’s a full briyani.
Briyani taste is not good at all. It seems ghee rice and rice quality was not good. Only smallest 4 to 5 pieces mutton we got. But my friend got only one small mutton piece. Quantity is very less for one person you need atleast 2 full briyani.
We have tasted briyani from so many restaurant like sss hyderabad, bismi, asife, moti mahal. Their quality and taste is good.
Really thalapakatti briyani made my dinner spoil. I was really disappointed .
With briyani they have given onion raita and one soup. Raita was good but soup was not good.
Really totally wastage of my money.
But their service and present are good.
