I have visited Thanjavur for my exam in February 2017. I stayed there for 3 days buy I was busy in my exams. But one evening we managed to explore Thanjavur town and it’s beauty. We visited Thanjavur railway station outside the railway station there was a shop of cashew nuts of different types . We purchased two types of roasted cashew nuts and these were very delicious. Then we went to brihdeshwar temple which is perfect example of Dravid art. It is Lord Shiva temple with very huge Nandi and it is very beautiful and peaceful place for peace of mind. It is carved from stones and stones are placed one above other . We spent most of our time at this holey place . It was great experience in Thanjavur and with the blessings of Lord Shiva we all qualified are exam.
