I came across this book during one of my regular visits to the Cross word store.I must say that the pricing of the book is surely attractive.100 Rs/- and when I went through the synopsis I was sure that I wanted to read it as I was fed up of reading heavy stuff.something light would do alot of good for a change.3 love stories combined in one book made it a filmy masala kind of a read so I grabbed it.
The novel revolves around the lives and romances / escapades of three working men in Mumbai. One can very easily relate to all the characters and their actions in this book in our day to day lives. The narrative is very fast pasted and makes you feel eager to turn the pages especially when the novel reaches its mid.I found it a bit slow paced in the first 50 odd pages but after that it became quite interesting and I actually started looking forward to finishing the book.
That thing called Love delves into the psyche of the married men and women very well.It brings out the troubles and dissatisfaction in the present day lives of married couple and its consequences pretty well without making it too elaborate and boring.
I was not very happy with the way the female protagonists part ended though:)
Without divulging anything .this novel makes a great read for any kind of journey and is a great change if you yearn for some light masala book.
