Alchemist by Paulo Coelho defines purpose of life in all ways. Each time you red it you get different view towards life. The journey of shepherd through various landscapes and conditions of nature can be well correlated to aspects of life. The word’Alchemist’implies to someone who turns a base metal into gold. Gold is considered as one of the most valuable metals that can acquire wealth. In this story, I believe, that the experiences the shepherd gains, are the base metals and what he makes of it is gold.
I personally have chosen this book as a personal guide for life. it is well recommended that each one of you read it atleast once in life.
