I know I am supposed to evaluate the site https://artofliving.org in this section ..but here is my personal experience with the Art Of Living program that is being conducted in 140 countries. (anyone visiting the site would obvoiusly want to know abt the course anyway :-) )
I attended the course in Mumbai. I first there was resistance like This meditation stuff is not 4 me. But later neverthless decided to give it a dekho. Total of 6 days (tue to Sun) and 2 hrs in the evening (6 pm to 8pm).
Now after attending the program I am completly bowled over. The 3rd day of the course features a breathing technique call Sudarshan Kriya. I am not able to narrate my experience from this breathing technique as it is more of an experencial nature. It has to be experienced as it an out-of-the-world experience.
U get totally de-stressed. U r soooo... happy and cheerful. I remember my Mom telling me that my face was like a Light Bulb (no jokes..honest). Life now appears so simple ...every day is taken as a day for celebration...
Apart from Sudarshan Kriya there are also other small meditation processes that r very relaxing.
My advice will be that each and everyone reading this review must check out the Art of Living program. Uve got my WORD for this.
PS: Many people wonder as to why it is charged?? On further enquires I found out that they conduct several programs in slums / villages / prisons etc... which are obviously free of charge. Only from the urban people do they charge to support such free services to the needy. For more info on their free services visit https://5h.org.
