The dude

’’Big Lebowski’’ is one of those movies that creep into your skin and makes you tingle. The script is innovative and the execution is brillant by John Goodman and Jeff Bridges.

Its a story of slackers whom you become fond of by the end of the movie. Briefly, Jeff Bridges is The Big Lebowski, but he prefers to be called ’’The Dude’’ or ’’His Dudeness’’. He has bunch of slacker friends out of which John Goodman is the most remarkable character.

The story starts when ’’The dude’’ is mistaken for somebody else and gets beaten up some goons. And also, the goons pee on his persian rug. ’’The Dude’’ is really upset about the rug because his everyday routine was to wake up sometime in the early afternoon and bond with the rug by lying on it. He wants the person who sent the goons to pay for the rug. And the game begins.....

He seeks helps from John Goodman - a vietnam vet who has a skewed philosophy about how the world should be. His life revolves primarily around bowling and he responsible for creating mayhem and adding color to the movie.

’’The Dude’’ is a character played exceptionally well by Jeff Bridges. As Goldmember might say - ’’this one is a keeper’’
