For tranquality & Quality family time

If looking for a place which is truly peaceful, this is THE place. Located amidst mountains of Kanchjonga range, the resort provides complete peace. No traffic, no population nearby, no pollution. It is a nice place to spend with family. as there is no distraction, the family is perforce staying in one place, until you book a tour for sightseeing. We could catch up on a lot of family talk, which is rarely possible in a metro life.

In situations like mine, where everybody is too busy to spend quality time together, it came as a real family bliss. There is a pool to play - or learn as in our case. There is a decco, from where you can enjoy the view of snowclad Kanchanjonga in the morning - when the first sunrays break. Some of the rooms provide a view to this mountain from the window too. There is a lovely garden to take a walk barefoot. The compound is full of a wide variety of flowers, walkways, and overhanging shrubs, which are all dew-decked in the morning. If you are keen on meditation, the setting is ideal. You get to hear the chirping of birds in the morning.

The staff are extremely cordial. The range of food offered is very good - from authentic Chinese to local Sikkimese - north Indian and continental dishes included. The food is a bit expensive but, under the circumstances, acceptable. The rooms are decently furnished. There are samples of traditional Sikkimese furniture in common areas. You get TataSky in rooms.

The resort will arrange for cars, as in our case,  from and to Bagdogra Airport or Gangtok - for a charge of course. We liked our time in here more compared to our time at Gangatok- the capital of Sikkim.
