One day, about an year ago, I picked up a bottle of Body Shoppe Brazil Nut conditioner, figuring What the heck, lets try this too. Suddenly my hair felt so much softer, smoother... not to mention the delicious smell. I had a hard time not reverting to my childhood habit of chewing on my hair (yea, I know, GROSS!!). But try out this conditioner for damaged hair and youll have a similar experience. Your hair will be a lot healthier, a lot more manageable and itll smell good enough to eat!
Like most girls, I went through this phase where my hair felt like straw, looked like straw and sometimes even smelt like straw... During that phase, I ended up trying all kinds of hair care products of different companies. I tried Ultra Doux (Garnier Nutrisse), and I have to say their Olive oil and Lime conditioner is excellent, but on the very mild side, you end up using lots and lots of it, for any effect at all. Its taking the apply generously a little too far! Their Wheatgerm conditioner for dry hair is pretty good too. I tried Nicky Clarke, John Freida, Loreal, Wella, Revlon... you name it, I tried it. But most of them seemed to be loaded with chemicals that would have great immediate effects but later... eeek! So I was into the more natural ones, to avoid any lasting damage to my hair.
When I finally stumbled upon Body Shoppe, I ended up trying out a range of their products and all of them have been great. Of the conditioners, Brazil Nut conditioner for damaged hair has an amazing effect on hair. Youll actually feel the softness after the very first use. Its very easy to apply, and leaving it on for a few minutes is a good idea for great effects.
Im not saying its gonna work miracles, or youll suddenly have the shampoo commercial hair swirling around your shoulders. But it does drastically improve the texture of your hair, and itll tangle a lot less on regular use, not to mention its lasting delicious smell!
If your hair isnt damaged, you have a range of other conditioners to choose from. You could try their Banana conditioner for dry hair, their leave-in conditioner which is a good idea in the polluted world we live in, or any of the other conditioners that would suit your hair-type best. If youre going through that phase where you just dont like youre hair, take a chance with Body Shoppe, you probably wont regret it...
