I just reached mumbai after being to the Byke for the weekend i.e from 2nd September to 3rd September 06.
The hotel boasts of about 7 acres of land but I beleive most of the land there was not maintained at all...The swimming pool was dirty.... There was hardly a visbile tennis court...The games room had a broken TT table...The AC in the rooms would make loud noises and keeps cutting off every 10 minutes.
Last but the most important thing is BEWARE OF THEFT. If you give away ur room keys to the reception to clean the rooms you should be very careful of keeping MONEY or valuables coz they would be stolen otherwise. This is the most important advice for anyone who even considers going to the Byke.
The only thing that was good about the restaurant was the Food which was mouh watering...but again only VEG....
I would not recommend this plave to anyone... I believe for sure that Usha Ascot is a much better choice even if you pay a couple of bugs extra.
