We Stayed for 2 days in hotel the carnival, kodaikanal. The hotel was good. Best was the location of the hotel. The hotel faces the dense green mountains but is 2kms from the city. No autos available there, so you need to take a car from city to hotel and outside travel agents will charge you 250 rs for 2 kms but if you book the cab from hotel, they will charge 200 rs.
Hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Faced issues like no hot water etc but then the staff was very prompt at solving the issue so overall experience was very nice. Food is ok.
In kodai kanal, there is a restaurant named "Tava". Its pure veg. Their food is very tasty. We enjoyed it a lot. Must goto Tava veg restaurant. There will be waiting of around 30-45 mins but still I would say please go and have food their. Its simply wonderful!
