Okie this is my sixth review and no news from my fellas :( ... hey people I need ur comments !!
Coming to the Cascade ....
I have heard abt people who belong to the city and are writing abt the cascade. But now I am talking abt me , a software engineer (oooops ex software engineer) who lived in adyar in chennai for one full year and visited approx all good restaurants in the city. (by all , I actually mean more than 80% for sure)
Now about Cascade , I have been there for more than 20-25 times in one year. These are excluding our Infosys parties at that place. This place was amazing ........ oh ok ... it was AMAZIINNGGG.
A simple strategy , if u r at adyar and u wanna visit the besant nagar Cascade (Which we normally did) , just go to the cascade restaurant , take the lift and tell the person in the restaurant that u r coming in 15 min and book seats for u. The lift-mans name is ganga (see , how much I love this place).
Come back after a stroll at Beach , this would do two things : increase ur appetite , which u would need and also pass 15 minutes.
Take your seats , order for a noodle soup , followed by a triple schwzwan rice (the best thing is that it was not in menu but these people cooked it for me when they identified me as a frequent visitor) with chicken in oriental sauce and then have a matka kulfi (for two people offcourse). The total bill will be around Rs. 400-430 (I remembered even the menu of theirs). Now thats a bit expensive , but looking at the beautiful interiors , amazing good food and the efficacy of the people here , ist totally worth it.
I have also been to the cascade at nungambakkam and it was also equally good. A bit of hassle in parking though , but thats ok I guess , u can park in some nearby complex :)
Havent been to T Nagar cascade , but as my earlier fellas have said , it must be equivalent !!
Hence , in chennai , want chinese ? Go to Cascade !
in chennai , want good food ? Go to cascade again :-)
