I have been staying at this hotel since the last 3 years; due to a dearth of reasonably priced hotels in the city, this has been the only choice but NEVER AGAIN at Central Park because of poor service, bad food, insensitive staff and an arrogant attitude.
Some renovation and construction has been going on since quite some time at this place; I was rudely woken up by a constant banging of hammers breaking down a portion of a wall on the floor above my room on the third floor one fine sunday morning at 7 am. When I complained to the management, someone said that the work would stop in 5 minutes. When it didnt, I followd up with repeated calls to the reception desk requesting a change of room to a lower floor so I could catch some jmuch desitred sllep...to no avail; the banging continued and after I finally threatened them with dire consequences, they managed to shift me to a room on the SAME floor down the corridoor just 3 hours before I was supposed to check out of the hotel.
A ffedback form dropped in at the hotel demanding action and a written explanation from the management eveoked NO response. This is the level of insensitive service provided.
In the past too, service has been consistently at a snails pace; specially when there are parents of the Scindia School students staying here or a group of foreign tourists. A room service order for ordinary dal and rice takes up to an hour to arrive, that too after repeated reminders!
