I have been to the Chancery a couple of times. They are a decent restaurant, but my latest experience has left a bitter taste in the mouth.
We booked a table for twelve two days in advance only to be told on the day of our visit that the place has been given to a party of 300 people. The only option we had was to cancel the booking because the place is small, and can get really noisy with just a crowd of fifty. Three hundred would be a riot. Sorry Chancery, but I don’t think we are ever going to consider you again for anything.
